Subscription terms

These terms cover Steward: Live Flight Tracker, an Android app made by Marko Zanoski.
Why there is a subscription
Steward is free to download, but using it needs a subscription. Every trip you follow is watched live by a paid flight data service, around the clock, so there is no free version and no ads.
The free trial
New subscribers get 3 days free, run by Google Play. One trial per Google account, and only if you have never had a Steward subscription before. Google Play shows the price before you start. If you do not cancel in Google Play before the 3 days end, the subscription starts and Google Play charges you.

Every plan has every feature; plans differ only in how many phones they cover. Prices in your country are set by Google Play and may include tax. A phone counts while it uses Steward; a phone you have not opened Steward on for 30 days frees its place. A subscription belongs to the Google account that bought it and cannot be shared with other accounts.
Paying, renewing and cancelling
Google Play takes the payment and renews the subscription each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time in Google Play; Steward keeps working to the end of the time you paid for. Refunds follow Google Play's rules.
When the subscription ends
Your trips stay in the app as a read only list. Steward stops watching flights for you: no live updates, no alerts, no new trips. Subscribe again and it picks up where it left off.
Fair use
Unlimited is meant for personal and family use, about 200 trips followed at once; we may contact you if use is far above that, and we will not cut you off without talking to you first.

What Steward keeps and sends is in the privacy policy.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
